Michele Burchell, Director
Michele joined the BBLC team as a certified teacher in 2010. With an M.Ed. in Educational Administration, Michele has served as Associate Director and Director since 2012. She enjoys working with BBLC students and families and looks forward to opening the arrival door each morning! Michele lives in Jamison with her husband and her children, who are BBLC alumni.

Cindy Zimmerman comes to BBLC with over 20 years of experience teaching both Pre-K and Kindergarten. With degrees in both Psychology and Elementary Education, Cindy is a talented, licensed teacher who is very mindful of young students’ needs. She lives in Hatfield and loves to watch baseball, go camping, and cuddle her 2 dogs.

Diane has been a member of the Building Blocks staff for over 35 years, and still loves what she does. She currently works with our Step 1 class. She enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with her family, especially her many grandkids.

Lauren is a certified elementary teacher and has a B.A. in Sociology. She has over 12 years of experience teaching preschool and is excited to be part of the Building Blocks team as a Pre-K teacher. Lauren enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and two children.

Barb has been part of our staff since 1992. She has experience assisting with both Step 1 and Pre-K classes. Barb resides in Doylestown with her husband, and enjoys reading, yoga, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Maureen joined our staff in 2000 and has experience supporting Step 1, Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms. Maureen also has previous experience working at WHYY.

Janice has worked at BBLC for over 20 years, having supported teachers in each class from Step 1 through Kindergarten. She and her husband have three children and live in Doylestown. Janice enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, and gardening.

Anne is a certified teacher with a M.Ed. degree in Education. She has over 25 years of experience and teaches Pre-K. She enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, and watching the Flyers!

Jenn is a certified PK-4 teacher with an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education. She has 6 years of experience teaching preschool and is excited to teach Step 1 and Step 2. She lives in Telford with her husband, two daughters, and two cats. Jenn is a Girl Scout leader and enjoys reading, crafting, and exploring the outdoors in her free time.

She graduated from Lycoming College and lives in Buckingham with her husband, three children, dog, and a variety of other small pets. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, cooking, and going for walks.

She lives in Doylestown with her husband, 3 kids and their dog Barkley. In her free time she loves to bake, craft and spend time with her family and friends.

She has a bachelor's degree from La Salle University and is currently on the Linden Elementary Home and School Association. She has helped coach track and cross county at the Doylestown YMCA since 2015. Caitrin lives in Doylestown Borough
